Our cat has calcified lungs and nothing can be done about it, it will only get worse. We discussed for about 2 weeks if the best option was euthanasia and we were in denial on the subject because we thought that the best thing was to give him quality of life...

He no longer has quality of life with his situation, the slightest movement causes him to have an attack and He can't breathe, he has to take breaks to eat (and be able to breathe) and these breaks are getting longer.

So it will be today.

We already discussed it with the family, it was very hard and we dissociated a lot. Right now we have low blood pressure. It has been a traumatic process and it is the first time we have witnessed/experienced something like this.

I would love to write more on the subject but it would be too long a thread. It only remains for me to say that Mozart (our cat) is part of our beloved OC and we will include him in our universe of characters.
